Girls's Basketball
Posted by Casey Leung on May 23, 2015 As some of you may know, the Girls’ Basketball season is over. At this time, we’d like to congratulate all our St. Anne Stars, who have tried their best and played their heart out. Even though some teams didn’t make it to the championships and win, they are all winners in our hearts. Remember to never give up; you’re the real MVP! When one sport ends, another is just about to start. That’s right! The Girls’ Volleyball season is off to the races. Recently, girls from grades 3-7 had had their tryouts. The purpose of the tryouts is for the coaches to see who is qualified for the Blue team and the Red team. Some parents might have received an email with your child(or children’s)’s and the team they are going to be playing for. But for those who haven’t received an email, don’t you fret. The coaches take a few days to deliberately make wise decisions, which will benefit our school in the best way possible. Hold on tight and let the volleyball season take off! |
Sports Overview

St. Anne sports, overall, was very fun and memorable. With good and bad times, we stuck as a team and picked each other up. At the end of the day, it's not winning or losing that matters, it's how you’ve played the game. To start, our St. Anne’s cross-country team, even though a smaller group than last year, had a great experience spending time with our friends and bonding. When basketball season commenced, we knew we had a strong team this year. And we did, the 7th grade A and B team won their championship and the C team was the runner-up. With almost a triple crown, we hope to bring more victories in the coming year. Finally, with the season just ending, the 7th grade baseball team came in last place. Even though there were some good teams in division one and some bad losses, we came through as a team and, in the end, we had a good time together. The sports this year were fun and will be something to grow and recount on throughout our lives.
